STREET FOOD - ITALY

Hello beautiful human beings of the internet,
You might be questioning yourselves why the hell am I posting on a Saturday night. Well I am a forever alone that does nothing but staying at home watching tv, eating and studying.
Today I am going to talk about food again, but this time it's about food from Italy!! I am beyond excited to talk about this.
Did you know that the name Italy comes from the Greek "Italos"?
Firstly I only knew lasagna and pizza but now I know a little bit more and I want to share with you this amazing and delicious food.

GNOCCI

Gnocci are thick and soft dough dumplings that are made of semolina, ordinary wheat flour, eggs, cheese, potatoes and breadcrumbs. There are a lot of variations for this recipe but I guarantee you it's delicious.
Vegetarians will enjoy the "Pomodoro style", sauce and cheese.

PROSCIUTTO

If you love thin slices of meat, prosciutto is an Italian favourite. It is either tossed in pasta or wrapped around melon or cheese. It is and Italian dry-cured ham.

TIRAMISU

It looks amazing right?
Tiramisu is like gelato. It comes in all sizes and styles. Most are the traditional alternative layers of cream and cake but some restaurants create the tiramisu in ice-cream glasses. It is a coffee-flavoured dessert. It is traditionally made of Lady Fingers (sponge biscuits) dipped in coffee and then layered with a whipped mixture of eggs, sugar and mascarpone cheese, flavoured with cocoa.

That's it for today guys, I hope you liked it.
See you on my next post,
Xoxo,
