Hello beautiful human beings of the internet,
Today I'm going to talk about the British Food. It's Monday so why not?Do you know that 700 different types of cheese are produced in England?
In this post I will show you 3 types of street food that you should definitely try if you go to England. By the way, they are not made out of cheese!
FISH AND CHIPS
Fish and Chips are the most common street food in England. Fresh cod is the most common fish for the traditional Fish and Chips.
The fresh fish is dipped in flour, then dipped in batter and deep fried. It is served with chips (obviously Sofia, why are you saying that?!). Sometimes people will order curry sauce, mushy peas or pickled eggs (yes pickled).
Fish and Chips were served up wrapped in old newspaper. Nowadays, thanks to hygiene laws, they are wrapped in greaseproof paper and sometimes paper that has been printed to look like a newspaper.BLACK PUDDING
Black pudding is a type of blood sausage generally made from pork fat, pork blood and a relatively high amount of oatmeal.
Black pudding is also a huge part of the English breakfast.
I know it doesn't look amazing but I promise you that it is absolutely delicious!
TRIFLE
This one makes me dream just by looking at this picture. It looks awesome, doesn't it?
A Trifle is a dessert made out of sponge cake soaked in some kind of alcohol layered with, usually, whipped cream and fruit. I bet it is delicious, I am definitely trying this at home.
Well that's it for today, I hope that when you go to England you try these types of food. Maybe you should try and include them in your meals of the day: breakfast, lunch and dinner! I bet you will love it!
See you next time
Xoxo,
