Howdy, street festival people!
Today I’m here to bring you festivals from Sydney. Sydney is
a city located in Australia. With almost 5 million Sydneysiders, this city is
the most populous one in Australia and Oceania.
Sydney brings you a big diversity of festivals, with
different themes. I will give you 4 examples of upcoming festivals that will
blow your mind. Some of them are known internationally, some are not. One thing
that they have in common is that they are fascinating.
Autumn Colours Festival
Time to take your cameras out and enjoy the beauty of nature
in Sydney! The Autumn Colours Festival will be held on May 31 from 11am to 3pm,
and it gives you a trip through the beauty of the Auburn Botanic Gardens while
providing you great entertainment, food, fun for families and, of course, the
famous fauna reserve.
Sydney Film Festival
One of the world’s oldest film festivals, the Sydney Film Festival features the best in cinema, including features, documentaries, short films, retrospectives, restorations, animation and more, while reflecting the historic development of the Australian film industry. It will be held from June 8 to June 19, and the venues include the Art Gallery of New South Wales and the Sydney Town Hall. It’s a festival recognized internationally. Australian International Music Festival
One of the most popular and attended events, the Australian
International Music Festival is open to groups that play all types of music,
particularly Wind Bands, Orchestra, Choirs and Jazz Bands. From July 3 to July
10, bands will be performing in four different places: the Sydney Opera House,
the Angel Place City Recital Hall, the Sydney Town Hall and the St. Marys
Cathedral. This festival has an average of 900-1300 participants every year.
Vivid Sydney
“Vivid Sydney is where art, technology and commerce
intersect.” This is how it is read in Vivid Sydney’s website. It’s the best way
to describe the festival. The Vivid Sydney is a 23-day (from May 27 to June 18)
unique annual event of light, music and ideas. This festival brings you an
outdoor gallery of fascinating outdoor lighting sculptures and installations, a
cutting-edge contemporary music program and creative industry forms. Last year,
1.7 million people visited the festival. For more information, visit http://vividsydney.com.

As you can understand, the festivals in Sydney are one of a
kind. Festivals doesn’t only mean music. It’s about nature, ideas, light. It’s
about showcasing life in general. Hurry because they are coming very soon.
Until then, a better post is coming, next time.
