Hello beautiful human beings of the internet,
here I am again with another post.
In today's post I will give you some yummy foods from Sydney.
Sydney is not a city: it is a world. It's the place where everything is possible, it's the city of dreams. Besides my beautiful country, I love Sidney, it's one of the cities that I would love to visit some day.
Besides having amazing landscapes, it also has amazing food. Sydney has a lot of food that will make your tastebuds happy!
Here are some of the foods that make me want to go to Sydney:
1. The Lamingtons
The Lamingtons are often described as the “National
Cake of Australia” and are one of Australia’s
favorite deserts.
It is usually made with sponge cake that is coated with a layer
of chocolate sauce and coconut shavings. Sometimes they are also made with a
layer of cream or jam in the middle.
This sponge cakes remind me of my childhood, at my house with my
friends, having a snack without feeling guilty about what we are eating. Just
us, friends having a great time.
Recreate the recipe and send us the pictures for us to see:
2. Tim Tam
I’ve already tasted these biscuits and they are super delicious.
Tim Tams are an Australia’s favorite. Arnott’s (which produces Tim Tams) says that around 35 million packs are sold each year. That’s a lot of biscuit!
Tim Tams are made with two layers of chocolate malted biscuit, separated by a chocolate cream filling. That is why Australians like Tim Tams. Who doesn’t like chocolate?
Tim Tams have plenty of flavors. Here it is a girl trying some Tim Tams: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRuwP6H4SFQ. I bet you will love it!
3. Pigs in a Blanket
This one is for the meat lovers. It’s called pigs in a blanket
In the United States, pigs in a blanket are hot dogs wrapped in dough but in Australia things are a lot more special: it is meat wrapped around meat! Isn’t that fabulous?
That’s it for today, I hope you have liked it,
XOXO,
